We all know we love a fine day but what happens if things just don't go as you planned? While we are extremely lucky with the gulf stream location we have found here at the Rectory it won't make much of a difference at the end of the day. Typically you find on a beautiful sunny day guests scatter towards the lush green lawns of the Rectory overlooking Glandore harbour. However when the day is inclement the opportunity to sip a glass of champagne in the new onsite marquee or main house is the ideal alternative. If you happen to be hosting a wedding this can always be a good thing as two families that don't tend to know each other that well have the opportunity to break the ice a lot earlier in the day.
The huge bay windows of the Rectory afford excellent views over the lawn and Glandore coastline giving the impression you are eating in the garden but within the comforts of the vibrant red and green dining rooms. Even on a dull day the venue doesn’t feel gloomy as there is nothing to block or obstruct the views of the harbour. The Georgian restaurant is the perfect location to relax, absorb breathtaking views, sample cuisine, while enjoying a memorable party.
The Rectory staff believes your party should be a feast and work extremely hard at maintaining high standards of service without losing touch of the friendly West Cork charm. It is a party at the end of the day.
Just remember stay positive and only positive things can happen. At the end of all beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
